U.S. Department of Defense to invest in Artificial Intelligence calling it “New Oil”

In October of this year, a Department of Defense (DOD) official called Artificial Intelligence “New Oil” and the governments or the countries that get the best datasets will unquestionably develop the best AI, said the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center’s chief technology officer.

The U.S. has access to a trove of global datasets and that’s important because partnerships play a role. The Chief Technology Officer said that there are certain areas of AI that are highly scaled where you can trust and deploy at a rapid scale.

The DOD favors AI and is increasing their budget for the technology. Right now, in a report, the DOD is passing a huge bill to invest in AI technology.

A few companies we recommend looking at is listed below:

  • Artificial Intelligence Technologies (OTC: AITX) – Possible Fortune 500 deal by end of year with implementation Q1 of 2021.
  • Ideanomics (IDEX)
  • Kulr Technologies (KULR)
  • Rekor Systems (REKR)
  • C3.AI (AI)
